Spell it out
How to stitch a word
Find your letters
Every chart sheet holds whole letters: capitals first, then small letters, then numbers. Each sheet says which letters it has.
Count your word
Count each letter’s width on its sheet and add them up. Add 1 stitch between letters. Leave a wider gap between words.
Centre and stitch
Capitals are 5 stitches tall. Mark the middle of your fabric, centre the word on it and stitch letter by letter.
