Spell it out
How to stitch a word
Find your letters
Every chart sheet holds whole letters: capitals first, then small letters, then numbers. Each sheet says which letters it has.
Count your word
Count each letter’s width on its sheet and add them up. Small letters join up: stitch them side by side with no gap. Leave a wider gap between words.
Centre and stitch
Capitals are 13 stitches tall. Mark the middle of your fabric, centre the word on it and stitch letter by letter.
