Where shall we go?

A little help, right here.

Printing, reading, gathering, making.

Start here

Which pages do I print?

Each craft PDF starts with a contents page that says “Print pages N–M” for your craft. Type that range into the Pages box of your print window.

That one range is your complete pack in working order: the key and instructions, the full design reference, then the enlarged charts. Print every page in the range; you don’t need to find or add any other pages.

How do I read the chart?
  • Symbols: each square on the chart is one stitch, bead, tile or drill, and each colour has its own symbol.
  • Colour key: lists every symbol with its thread, yarn or bead code, the colour name, how many of that colour you need and an estimate of how much material. Match physical colours in daylight.
  • Full chart: the whole design on one page, so you can see where you are.
  • Enlarged sheets: the same chart split into large-print sheets, with row and column numbers. Hatched cells along a sheet’s edge repeat on the next sheet, so match the coordinates and make each cell once.
Are the finished sizes exact?

Sizes are estimates at the stated gauge. Swatch first. Width uses your stitches per inch; height uses your rows per inch. These may differ, especially in knitting and crochet. Finishing margins are extra.

Which thread, beads and drills do I need? Can I substitute?
  • Stitching, crochet and knitting crafts: the key uses DMC codes. For yarn crafts these are the nearest shades, so use matching-weight yarn in those colours and swatch.
  • Bead loom, brick stitch, peyote and square stitch: Miyuki Delica 11/0 beads, with DB codes.
  • Fuse beads: Perler (P) and Hama (H) codes, with DMC reference codes.
  • Diamond painting: 2.5 mm square drills in DMC colours.

You may use other brands. Match colours in daylight, and buy everything you need at once, because dye lots can differ. Estimated sizes assume the materials in the key, so a different bead size or yarn weight changes the finished size. No thread, beads or kit are included with a pattern.

Why is the ruler different on A4?

Fit to page scales the US Letter layout to your A4 printable area. Divide the measured ruler length by 50 mm to find the printed scale. This is a scale check, not a change to the number of stitches.

Reading charts

Which craft should I pick?

Every design is charted for all 14 crafts from the same artwork, so pick the one you enjoy. Each craft’s materials and a simulation of the design are on the Crafts page.

Are there video tutorials?

Yes. Each PDF links to video tutorials from real makers for that craft, so you can watch the technique before you start.

Files & links

How do I get my files?

Patterns are digital PDFs: one per craft, with a hub listing the available craft files. The shop is currently paused. Free signup will appear here when a pattern is ready; the preview does not take orders.

What can I do with the patterns?
  • You may use a pattern for yourself.
  • You may sell finished handmade items that you make from it.
  • You may not share, give away, resell or upload the pattern files (PDF, PNG or SVG).
